Approach, Running and Leisure Shoes

Footwear is where LSR began, over 30 years ago. Alongside hiking and mountaineering boots, we also offer a range of services for approach, running and leisure shoes.

Resoles

We stock a range of sole units suitable for use on approach and running shoes. By default, we will select the most suitable sole unit for your shoes however, if you would like to change their usage from road running to fell running for example, let us know and we can explore other options.

Vibram road sole

Suitable for road running shoes.

Vibram Zegama

Suitable for a wide range of outdoor activities including hiking, trekking and trail running.

Vibram Friction

Suitable for a wide range of outdoor activities including hiking, trekking and trail running.

LSR Fell sole

This can be fitted to various styles of shoe to increase grip. It features a 10mm conical shaped stud throughout the unit.

Walsh soles

Suitable for Walsh PB and Fellsman shoes.

We cannot guarantee to match the original sole. Pictures of the typical models we use for approach and running shoes can be seen above.
Yes. If you are looking to switch up the purpose of your shoes, we can fit the LSR fell sole to most types of running shoe.

No. Whether it’s a resole, stitching or lace hook that it required, our work will not damage any membranes.
