What Resole Do I Need?

Additional Repairs

Rand replacement

We offer rand replacements on a variety of boots but depending on the shape and size, we may only be able to replace the front half of the rand. Due to how rands are fitted, they can only be replaced along with a resole.

Stitching

We can repair most areas of stitching without causing damage to any waterproof linings.

D-ring/Lace hook replacement

We can replace damaged d-rings and lace hooks on boots without causing damage to the waterproof membrane. We stock a range of replacement parts however, we cannot guarantee to match your original exactly.

Heel Linings

If you damage the lining around the heel cup, we can fit a thin piece of leather to cover the damaged area.

Patching

Cracked leather can be repaired by fitting patches over the area. We cannot guarantee to match the colour so this type of repair is often noticeable but, it is functional and ensures your boots are ready for the next adventure.

In some cases, yes, but we cannot guarantee it. We stock over 60 different styles of sole units so if we do not have the original, it is likely we will have a compatible unit.

No. We can repair both stitching and eyelets whilst ensuring the waterproof membrane remains intact.

The rand is a rubber band that runs around the boot, above the sole unit, that protects the upper. Please watch our resole video for more information on the different parts of the boot.

The midsole is the part of the sole unit responsible for shock absorption and comfort. They can take many different forms but please see our resole video for more information on identifying them.
