Zip Replacement Service

We offer a comprehensive zip replacement service covering main zips, pocket zips, vent zips and leg zips. All of our zips are from YKK and we stock Coil, Vislon, Aquaguard and Aquaguard Vislon. Whilst we cannot guarantee to match your original colour, we stock a selection of colours for each type of zip to ensure a suitable replacement. Plus, if your original zips have taped seams, we will replace the tape to keep it fully functional.

Zip Slider Replacement

Our zip slider replacement service is ideal for cases where the zip itself is in good condition but the original slider is failing. Whilst we may not be able match the original slider, we can replace it with a compatible component restoring smooth functionally without having to replace the zip entirely.

Seam Tape Replacement

Our seam tape replacement service is there for cases where your original tape is failing and coming away from the garment. We stock a range of different tapes and advanced machinery to ensure that our processes are as close to the original manufacturers as possible. This service is available as a full service, covering all the jacket or trousers and a half tape which is specific for jackets covering the hood, neck and shoulders.

Tear Repairs

Dog chews, barbed wire cuts, cycling accident, there is very little we haven’t seen. If your waterproof gear is damaged, we have a few methods of repair depending on size, amount of damage and location but all repairs are carried out with high quality materials and with functionality at heart. We can re-tape all seams afterwards to ensure that the area is watertight again and your gear is ready for its next outing.

Press stud (Popper) Replacement

We stock a range of press studs suitable for replacing broken and missing studs. If your broken stud is internal, such as inside a storm flap, don’t worry we can replace these too!

Velcro Replacement

Whether it’s your cuff Velcro, storm cover Velcro or hood Velcro we can remove and replace it to ensure that it fastens correctly. If your jacket has tabs on the cuffs which are damaged, we can also make new fabric tabs to replace them.

Draw Cord Replacement

Damaged draw cord or cord lock? Whether it’s the hem, waist or hood cord we can remove and replace it. We offer services for individual cords or a complete replacement of up to three draw cords.

Unfortunately, no. We cannot guarantee an exact matche for material or components however, we stock a wide range and will do our best to match as closely as possible.
Yes, we stock a wide range of zips from YKK including coil, Vislon, Aquaguard, Aquaguard Vislon and Aquaseal.
Unfortunately, no. Once an item starts to delaminate, there is nothing that can be done and it will continue to get progressively worse.
In most cases, yes however, there are certain types of waterproof membranes that won’t take new tape. We can generally tell during the initial in-house assessment if there will be any issues.
